There is more to being safe and prepared in the backcountry than putting a sticker on your gear, but this 3" circle is intended to be a reminder when you're setting out for a day in the 'cunch. 
 
Take an avalanche safety course. Read the reports. Make a plan. Stay Safe. These are some backcountry basics, but they can be the differnet between a dope day and a death. Support the cause and remind yourself and others that you need your rescue gear, and the knowledge to use it.
