Daffo, a band currently based out of LA, opened the show in the best way possible. Bringing all that West Coast energy to Boston's Royale, on Thursday, June 19th, 2025. Every band member was seemingly having the best night of their lives playing to their “biggest crowd ever”. They absolutely lit the room on fire with their rock n’ roll and authentic energy. Their set had the perfect flow and mix of sounds from guitars and vocals, ranging from soft and controlled to urgent and hard. They played a new song that they announced would be dropping next week, and a new record dropping in September of this year.

Blondshell came in to tour their latest release If You Asked For A Picture, her sophomore album. The vibes were high coming off of her beloved self-titled record. With her shows in such high demand, the Boston gig was moved from The Sinclair in Cambridge, a smaller venue in town. Playing to a sold out crowd, her cool-girl, nonchalant vibe was met by an excited fanbase chanting along to all of her songs off both albums. Her band rocked hard and the harmonies and backup vocals were a highlight in the performance.

She added her cover of Addison Rae’s Diet Pepsi towards the end of her set. Before the show was over, she took time to acknowledge Juneteenth, pride month, and the current political turmoil, and opened the conversation to making predominantly white spaces, like the indie rock genre, a welcoming and safe space for all. She finished the set with a two song encore and a bang, her song Salad.
